CAW Social Club

Ice breaker event 25/5/22

Welcome to the CAW Social Club (formerly known as the Chinese Community Project CCP).

The CAW Social Club provides a social network platform for the local commutiy. It is led by two volunteer coordinators, Fanhong Kong and Adela Shum.

The club was closed in 2020 as a result of the pandemic. It will reopen on 3rd Nov 2021 and meetings will take place between 11am and 2pm on the first and third Wednesday of each month from then on. There will be a different themed activity followed by a group lunch at each meeting. Through these regular social gatherings, CAW promotes a sense of community belonging amongst the participants and provides them with a support network.

Both members and non members of CAW are welcome.

Fees: Members £3 each; Non-members £4 each; those who are unable to bring food will pay an extra £5. We hope to reduce the amount of plastic waste and will appreciate if participants can bring their own tableware for the group lunch.

Contact: Fanhong Kong and Adela Shum or via the CAW Social Club WeChat group

Venue: The Maybury Centre, 27 Board School Road, Woking GU21 5HD.
