Chinese Association of Woking

Chinese Community Project

CCP provides a social network platform for the local community. It is led by a voluntary project co-odinator, Fanhong Kong.

CCP runs a weekly drop in social gathering on Tuesdays (apart from during the Christmas and Summer holidays) between 10:30 am and 2:30 pm at the Old Woking Community Centre, Sundridge Road, Woking GU22 9AT.

Regular activities include sharing lunch, mahjong, singing, table tennis and seminars on a range of topics such as the history of art and family relationships. Through these regular meeting and activities, CCP promotes a sense of community belonging among the attendees, and provides them with a support network.

Both members and non members of CAW are welcome.

Members are charged £2; non members £3.

Attendees are encouraged to bring  food to share amongst the group. Those who are unable to bring food will be charged an extra £3 towards the cost of food provided by CCP.
